Kate (Anna) Janisch, Human Services major 2009, is currently working on her masters in public health at northeastern university in the urban public health program. She is also interning at the Massachusetts Public Health Association where I am focusing on local food and wellness initiatives.
Jennifer Ryan, Human Services major 2009, first became involved in Non-Profit Development during her senior year, through an internship at Rosie's Place, a Boston shelter for poor and homeless women. In October 2009, she was excited to accept a position at the Massachusetts General Hospital, working as a Development Associate for the Mass General Cancer Center Major Gifts team.
Tanya Simon, CJ/ Human Services Dual Major 2009, is a Case Manager & Housing Advocate with Middlesex Human Service Agency, based in Waltham, MA. She began work at Mary's House, and is now working at Sandra's Lodge Family Shelter, a large shelter servicing 32 women and their children. At Sandra's, Tanya has 14 families that she helps to attain necessary services such family counseling, food and nutritional assistance, domestic violence and trauma counseling, substance abuse treatment, and family services through the Department of Children and Families. In December, she will transition to a new office in Dorchester, MA where I will provide similar services to a dozen intact homeless families who are living in floating shelters, called Scattered Sites, throughout the Dorchester neighborhood.
Barbara Civill, Human Services and International Affairs major 2008, is the Hyde Square Task Force Program Coordinator for their Ritmo en Accion, where she worked during her NU career. While at Northeastern University she was able to take advantage and spent time studying in Mexico and South Africa.
Christina Rossi, Human Services major 2008, will be working at Andrew House as a Substance Abuse Case Manager.
Nicole Costa, Human Services major 2007, was recently accepted into New York University's Graduate Program.
Megan Krell, Human Services and Psychology Dual major 2007, is attending University of Connecticut for a Masters degree in Child Psychology.
Jessica Thompson , Human Services specializing in ABA 2007, is in Abu Dhabi with The New England Center for Children working with children with various degrees of autism. She is in a classroom with a number of children who have never been in a school setting doing needs assessment and one-on-one instruction.
Mistie Conner, Human Services major with a Spanish minor 2006, works for Polk Community College as an Academic Advisor with their Educational Talent Search and is currently pursuing a Master in Education. While at NU, she took advantage of the possibilities and worked as a Service-Learning Coordinator and Peer Tutor. She served as an Americorps member for 2 years, through which she worked with Stand Up for Kids and Room to Grow.
Jaclyn Digesere, Human Services 2006, is presently in the Rutger's MSW program. Her specialization is health, mental health, and aging. She has been placed for internships in the field of developmental disabilities and for my second year placement I am interning at a community mental health center in Bayonne, NJ. I love it there!
Kristin Driscoll (Moul), Human Services and International Affairs double major 2006, is the Health Engagement Coordinator at the Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers (formerly Health Careers Academy). Kennedy Academy is a Horace Mann Charter Public School that was formed in partnership between the Boston Public Schools (BPS) and NU. Kristin works with high school students on the school's community service program, career exploration activities, and manages the partnerships for the school. Kristin worked for three years at the Boston Private Industry Council with BPS graduates pursuing healthcare careers through postsecondary education and with high school students helping them develop job readiness skills and obtain internships. She holds a Master of Education in Policy, Planning, and Administration from Boston University.
Amanda Johnston, Human Services 2006, works as a program coordinator for a state funded program working with parents involved in Connecticut's Department of Children and Families. She works directly with clients and their children in tackling tough issues in a supportive environment. She will be attending UCONN's MSW program in the Fall.
Katlyn Marple, Human Services and History 2006, is the NCMLP's National Program Coordinator. Prior to which she completed a case management internship with MLP Boston Office. Before joining NCMLP, she worked for several programs with the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
Lauren Mills, Human Services 2005, graduated from Columbia School of Social Work will be working at Pax: Real Solutions to Gun Violence as a Program Associate.
Karen Pierce, Human Services 2005, signed a two year commitment to join the Peace Corp and was stationed in Kenya. Now soon to be re-entering the country she is considering her options.
Alisa Abrams, Human Services and Psychology 2004, is currently working for Lynn (MA) Department of Social Services.
Dustin (Dusty) Latimer, Human Services 2004, is a MSM Outreach Coordinator for AIDS Action, where he worked during his NU career. He graduated in 2009 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with an MMS PA-C in Physician Assistant Studies.
Susan Palladino, Human Services 2004 is currently attending Simmons College to gain a Masters in Social Work.
Tracy Walters, Human Services 2004, has completing her MSW at Boston College. Her placement was at Bowman Elementary School in Lexington, MA.
Suzanne (Suzie) Clarke Allen, Human Services 2003, who is at Andover Youth Services, satellite office in West Middle School, where she created "The Zone".

Erin Credle, Human Services 2003, is currently working at the Bay State Banner as an Office Manager and attending Suffolk University for Public Administration.
Meghan Gaffny, Human Services 2003, Instructor at Harvard Bridge to Learning to Literacy and Graduate Student at the Harvard School of Education.

Melissa Madzel, Human Services 2002, after NU she worked with City Year New York but left in 2005 to get her MSW at the University of Pennsylvania. Now she is working at Safe Horizon in NYC in the Development and Marketing Department as an Account Manager for Corporate Sponsorships where she coordinates a program to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence on the workplace.
Antonio Arrendel, Human Services 2001,is the Program Director for Metanoia Community Change, which is commited to ending violence in our communities through proactive prevention,intervention and education.
Neil Anderson, Human Services and Education 1994, currently at John Hopkins Institute for a Civil Society gaining a certificate in Non-Profit Management Culminating in an MBA
