Dialogue of Civilizations:
Intercultural Studies Through Human Services Mexico
The Mexico Dialogue of Civilizations is a 4-week, 8-credit program, students will examine human service organizations from an international perspective while studying Spanish.

NU CEAD
(Northeastern University Civic Engagement and Academic Development)
Through a partnership with the Center of Community Service, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and a core student Advisory Board, we have developed the NU CEAD Program, which has a Fall and Spring commitment to community organizations and course work. NU CEAD’s mission is to promote service-learning and civic engagement through interdisciplinary experiential learning to reinforce development in academics, community partnerships, and leadership skills.

BARCC
(Boston Area Rape Crisis Center)
The Human Services Program has developed a relationship with BARCC. We offer HS U580 Sexual Assault Training: Techniques on Counseling and HS U581 Sexual Assault Training: Field Experience. We have also started a sexual assault hotline on campus and we are planning to expand this partnership further.

Bird Street Community Center
We have developed a relationship with the Bird Street Community Center located in Dorchester. Currently students run a sexual awareness program for young women using a peer leadership model. We plan to expand and create a sexual awareness program for young men as well.
